Purchase Delivery Split Date improves the standard Odoo Purchase workflow by automatically splitting incoming receipts based on the Expected Delivery Date entered on each Purchase Order line.

Instead of creating a single incoming shipment for the entire Purchase Order, the module creates separate receipts whenever products are expected to arrive on different dates. This makes it easier to plan warehouse operations, manage supplier deliveries, and receive products according to their scheduled arrival.

The module integrates seamlessly with Odoo Purchase and Inventory without changing the standard purchasing process.

📖 Usage

🛒 Create a Purchase Order

📍 Menu Navigation

Purchase → Orders → Purchase Orders

Steps

1. Click Create.
2. Select a Vendor.
3. Add one or more product lines.
4. Set the Expected Delivery Date for each line.
5. Save the Purchase Order.

✅ Confirm the Purchase Order

Steps

1. Click Confirm Order.
2. The module automatically groups Purchase Order lines by their expected delivery date.
3. Separate incoming receipts are created for each delivery date.

📥 Receive Products

📍 Menu Navigation

Inventory → Operations → Receipts

Steps

1. Open the generated Incoming Receipt.
2. Verify the products and scheduled delivery date.
3. Validate the receipt.
4. Repeat the process for other scheduled receipts as products arrive.
