Product Sequence automates the generation of unique Internal References (Default Codes) for products in Odoo.

Instead of entering product codes manually, the module generates them automatically using configurable sequences. You can define a global sequence for all products or configure different prefixes for individual product categories, making product identification more organized and consistent.

This helps businesses maintain standardized product codes, reduce manual errors, and simplify product management across large product catalogs.

2. Navigate to the Product Sequences section.
3. Enable or disable Use Parent Category Prefix.
4. Save the settings.

📦 Create a Product

1. Click Create.
2. Enter the product information.
3. Save the product.
4. The Internal Reference (Default Code) is generated automatically based on the configured sequence.
